About Me
My path to becoming a doula began with my own transformative experiences as a young mother. Having my first child at 16 was traumatic, but it ignited a passion within me to support other mothers, especially teens, women with trauma, and mothers facing mental health challenges.
In 2008, when I was 18 and pregnant with my son, I was determined to have a VBAC. At that time, this meant pursuing an out-of-hospital birth, which opened my eyes to the world of birth empowerment and family advocacy. This experience became the driving force behind my lifelong passion.
After years of raising my babies and supporting others from the sidelines, I welcomed my third child in 2016 - my first homebirth baby. This beautiful experience was the final chapter in our family's story and strengthened my commitment to helping others find their voice in birth.
